Khalo measures a series’ Strength by looking at the current business cycle and generating a Scale from the lowest and highest values within the cycle.
Through streaks, we can show a series’’ direction, and with Strength we can show how much Strength (or momentum) there is behind the movement.
The Spread Scale can vary from 0% > 100% with mid-range values in the 40% > 60% range being considered average in strength. While values from 1% > 39% would be considered quite weak. Finally, a 61% > 100% scale would indicate an out of the ordinary strong level of strength.
For example, a value of 64 with a downward direction and a high strength scale level of 70% (Strong), would indicate to the user that the downward trend of this series might probably continue and should be considered cautionary.H
